2.4 and Plasma

So far I am not a fan of the 2.4 PTR. I feel that blizzard is just trying to banadage issues with the game rather than take time to fix it proper. I am going to try to break it down into easy chunks

Badge Rewards: Approximity Black Temple and Mount Hyjal level gear that is given to players for badges. This sounds like a good idea until somebody realises that it makes most of the Serpentshrine Cavern/Tempest Keep: The Eye gear pretty much moot. I feel that this is not really helping guilds as much as it is hurting guilds and not allowing them to level up with content but rather to bypass and get to harder content quicker, or make lower content trivial. It makes people continue on with Karazhan and Zul'Aman for quick badges for gear that blows what is availible out of the water.
On an unrelated note: Why no tank weapons? /sadpanda.

Dungeons: I like Magister's Terrace. I think the bosses are pretty cool, and Shield Slamming Kael'Thas' face in makes me feel quite good. Sunwell Plateau is, in a word, awesome. Too hard core for my gear level, but a group did have the heart to take me and blizzard put quite a bit of work into it.

Tradeskills: Why no tank gear for armorsmiths? Engineers get an outstanding tier 6+ tank "helm" but armorsmiths can only make decent dps gear. Some items in off-slots would be nice if armorsmiths could make armorsmith only items, to have some benefit for the tradeskills. Deathfrost is a great enchant for (paladin) tanks. It basically replaces Thunderclap, thus lowering warrior viablity and contributions to a raid, thanks blizzard.

Misc: Primal Nether turning to BoE? That I like, makes items in heroics and pre-raiding easier to make.

-----Non-WoW news-----
I bought a new television the other night. I figured it might be a good time to buy one with the recently passed "Stimulus Package" that we American's are getting soon. After doing much searching I found the best deal at the local Circut City. I purchased a Samsung 42 inch plasma tv for 980.00 +tax, pretty good deal I think. So now I have to work at breaking it in by getting the the 100 hours watched mark and then I can not worry about the tv quite as much

Salutations and Good Tidings.

My good friend Razorbaxftw (http://threedruidnoob.blogspot.com/) has seduced me into posting on a blog to try and remedy some of the problematic thoughts or iritations that I may have. It might lead to nothing, but at least I can put my thoughts, mainly about World of Warcraft and other video games, onto somewhere and allow myself to not go completly crazy.

Let me explain a bit about myself:
I live in Central Florida and spend the majority of my time engrossed in either World of Warcraft or other various video games. I enjoy going to see movies, or reading a book or manga. Aside from the people from my workplace, I don't really talk to many people face to face and I generally keep to myself unless using the anonymity of the internet. While I dont have a favorite movie, I do have favorite movies in each specific genre at this point, coming from the previous job experience in movie retail. I watch and own a ridiculous amount of TV box sets and my favorite show to this point is "House."
My hobbies not associated with gaming or WoW are not very impressive. I was an member of the International Thespian Society and did performing arts in acting for six years and performance singing for eight years. I have a bit of an interest in voice acting and have tried, and failed, in various auditions over the course of the last decade.
I try to be analytical and objective in all my thoughts, and for the most part I am. There are subjects and ideas that I cannot keep from getting too, hmm, involved in.

Aside from that there really isnt anything that I can say without being asked.
